About Natalia

Natalia Arango-Barrero is a Registered Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience providing psychological care across public mental health services, community programs, private practice, and non-government organisations in Australia and overseas.

Natalia has extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing complex mental health presentations, helping people across different stages of recovery build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and reconnect with meaningful lives. She has worked with individuals, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams throughout inpatient and community settings.

Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centred care, and she believes in building strong therapeutic relationships that foster hope, empowerment, and lasting change.

In addition to her clinical work, Natalia has held senior leadership and supervision roles and currently works as a Senior Psychologist and AHPRA Supervisor within Queensland Health.
